I hope you had a great weekend and got to do something fun.

Before Christmas I planned a day out with each of the kids. Lara and I did a spa day in Camden, and Alex and I had plans to catch a train to the Blue Mountains. Unfortunately our trip got postponed due to me being on call for birth photograph and track works.

So on Saturday we finally did the trip. Yes we did think about doing the Steam train trip up the mountains, but the schedule timing of those trips just didn’t not work. And as much fun as it would have been to catch the steam train… its still the same trip on the normal train. So we made it happen.

We walked around Katoomba and Leura and did some window shopping and thrifty shopping too. Followed by some lunch and then took the train back down the mountain.

I took my little Fujifilm X100F camera out today. I need to start playing around with it so that I have a full grasp of its function before May and our big adventure overseas!
